The history of company Pivka Export-Import begins at year 1959. when was founded company Perutninarstvo Kras nearby city of Pivka in Republic of Slovenia ( 60 km from Rijeka )with the goal of organizing poultry production.
In year 1968 was founded subsidiary in Rijeka – the first subsidiary outside of Slovenia , and also the first specialized retail store for selling poultry meat in Rijeka . Between year 1968 and 1991 were opened subsidiaries in Zagreb and Split and lso eight specialized retail stores which makes Pivka able to supply entire market of Republic of Croatia .
At the beginning of the end of Jugoslavia at year 1991 was founded company Pivka Export-Import d.o.o. – Rijeka with main goal to keep supplying with poultry meat Republic of Croatia.
At year 2000 Pivka Export – Import became private owned by its employees.
At year 2005 company enlarged its warehouse capacities and moved to new location Jušići 116b – Jurdani (nearby Rijeka ).

Pivka Export-import d.o.o. is a company with long-lasting tradition of selling poultry meat on the entire market of Republic of Croatia . Currently it employs over then forty employees and works at two location, Rijeka (main office) and Zagreb (sales office).
